The face cards are Jacks, Queens and Kings, each with a point value of 10. They are called this way because the cards have pictures on them.

yeah, but Tony D wasn't confident in hs kicker, and Phil new it, and Tony D wasn't gonna put his tournament life at risk with that, and he actually did reraise Phil right before that, so he was convinced that he was beaten, amatuers tend to call with any type of 3 of a kind, regardless of the kicker, that's why they tend to lose more
